Note:

When passing ModifyInstancePlacementRequest as input to an Aws::Client method, you can use a vanilla Hash:

Instance Attribute Details

#affinityString

The affinity setting for the instance.

Possible values:

  • default
  • host

Returns:

  • (String)

    The affinity setting for the instance.

#group_nameString

The name of the placement group in which to place the instance. For spread placement groups, the instance must have a tenancy of default. For cluster and partition placement groups, the instance must have a tenancy of default or dedicated.

To remove an instance from a placement group, specify an empty string (\"\").

Returns:

  • (String)

    The name of the placement group in which to place the instance.

#host_idString

The ID of the Dedicated Host with which to associate the instance.

Returns:

  • (String)

    The ID of the Dedicated Host with which to associate the instance.

#host_resource_group_arnString

The ARN of the host resource group in which to place the instance.

Returns:

  • (String)

    The ARN of the host resource group in which to place the instance.

#instance_idString

The ID of the instance that you are modifying.

Returns:

  • (String)

    The ID of the instance that you are modifying.

#partition_numberInteger

Reserved for future use.

Returns:

  • (Integer)

    Reserved for future use.

#tenancyString

The tenancy for the instance.

Possible values:

  • dedicated
  • host

Returns:

  • (String)

    The tenancy for the instance.
