Attaches an AWS managed or customer managed policy to the specified PermissionSet as a permissions boundary.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

InstanceArn

The ARN of the IAM Identity Center instance under which the operation will be executed.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 10. Maximum length of 1224.

Pattern: ^arn:(aws|aws-us-gov|aws-cn|aws-iso|aws-iso-b):sso:::instance/(sso)?ins-[a-zA-Z0-9-.]{16}$

PermissionsBoundary

The permissions boundary that you want to attach to a PermissionSet.

Type: PermissionsBoundary object

Required: Yes

PermissionSetArn

The ARN of the PermissionSet.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 10. Maximum length of 1224.

Pattern: ^arn:(aws|aws-us-gov|aws-cn|aws-iso|aws-iso-b):sso:::permissionSet/(sso)?ins-[a-zA-Z0-9-.]{16}/ps-[a-zA-Z0-9-./]{16}$

AccessDeniedException

You do not have sufficient access to perform this action.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ConflictException

Indicates that the principal has crossed the throttling limits of the API operations.

ValidationException

The request failed because it contains a syntax error.
