DeleteProtection

Deletes an AWS Shield Advanced Protection.

Request Syntax

Request Parameters

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

ProtectionId

The unique identifier (ID) for the Protection object to be deleted.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 36.

Pattern: [a-zA-Z0-9\\-]*

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

InternalErrorException

Exception that indicates that a problem occurred with the service infrastructure. You can retry the request.

HTTP Status Code: 500

Exception indicating the specified resource does not exist.
