Troubleshooting Amazon WAM Issues
If the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application is not running, you won't see your installed Amazon WAM applications on the Windows Start menu. To start the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application, choose the Amazon WAM shortcut on the desktop of your WorkSpace.

If there is no Amazon WAM shortcut on the desktop, reboot the WorkSpace to add the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application. If the Amazon WAM shortcut is still not there after rebooting the WorkSpace, do the following:
-
On the Windows Start menu, choose Windows System, then choose Command Prompt.
-
In the Command Prompt window, enter the following commands, one at a time, and press Enter after each command:
c: cd "C:\Program Files\Amazon" .\WorkSpacesApplicationManager.exe
-
When asked whether to allow Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager to make changes to your device, choose Yes.
-
After the WorkSpaces Application Manager installation program has finished running, choose Finish.
-
Close the Command Prompt window.
You should now see the Amazon WAM shortcut on your desktop.
If the WorkSpacesApplicationManager.exe
file is not
present on your WorkSpace, contact your Amazon WAM administrator.
