The digital sovereignty lens doesn't add new best practices to the sustainability pillar. Best practices already defined under the sustainability pillar provide adequate advice.

Sovereignty requirements can also trade-off against sustainability goals. Data residency and jurisdictional constraints narrow Region selection, and duplicating operations across jurisdictions for continuity increases resource use. Weigh these trade-offs where they arise.
