Sustainability
Sustainability is increasingly becoming a motivator for customers to migrate to the cloud. The sustainability pillar includes the ability to continually improve sustainability impacts by reducing energy consumption and increasing efficiency across all components of a workload by maximizing the benefits from the provisioned resources and minimizing the total resources required. It's important to consider sustainability while migrating workloads to AWS. This includes enhancing energy efficiency, transitioning to renewable energy, reducing embodied carbon, using water responsibly, driving a circular economy, and enabling sustainability for customers.
