Ports and domains to allow list - AWS Wickr

This guide provides documentation for the AWS version of Wickr. If you're using the on-premises version of Wickr, see Enterprise Administration Guide.

Ports and domains to allow list

Allow list the following ports and domains to ensure Wickr functions correctly:

Ports

  • TCP port 443 (for messages and attachments)

  • UDP ports 16384-16584 (for calling)

Regional Domains

  • Asia Pacific (Singapore): api.messaging.wickr.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com

  • Asia Pacific (Sydney): api.messaging.wickr.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com

  • Asia Pacific (Tokyo): api.messaging.wickr.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com

  • Canada (Central): api.messaging.wickr.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com

  • Europe (Frankfurt): api.messaging.wickr.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com

  • Europe (London): api.messaging.wickr.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com

  • Europe (Stockholm): api.messaging.wickr.eu-north-1.amazonaws.com

  • US East (N. Virginia): gw-pro-prod.wickr.com, api.messaging.wickr.us-east-1.amazonaws.com

  • AWS GovCloud (US-West): api.messaging.wickr.us-gov-west-1.amazonaws.com

Registration and verification emails are sent from donotreply@wickr.email.

If you need to allow list all possible calling server IP addresses, you will need to download the AllowlistWickr.txt of possible CIDRs and periodically check it because it is subject to change.
