PutLoggingOptions - AWS IoT Events

PutLoggingOptions

Sets or updates the AWS IoT Events logging options.

If you update the value of any loggingOptions field, it takes up to one minute for the change to take effect. If you change the policy attached to the role you specified in the roleArn field (for example, to correct an invalid policy), it takes up to five minutes for that change to take effect.

The request does not use any URI parameters.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

loggingOptions

The new values of the AWS IoT Events logging options.

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

InternalFailureException

An internal failure occurred.

HTTP Status Code: 500

InvalidRequestException

The request was invalid.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ResourceInUseException

The resource is in use.

HTTP Status Code: 409

ServiceUnavailableException

The service is currently unavailable.

HTTP Status Code: 503

ThrottlingException

The request could not be completed due to throttling.

HTTP Status Code: 429

UnsupportedOperationException

The requested operation is not supported.

HTTP Status Code: 501
