Appendix: Oracle Character Sets Supported in Amazon RDS
The following table lists the Oracle database character sets that are supported in Amazon RDS. You
can use a value from this page with the --character-set parameter of the rds-create-db-instance command or
with the CharacterSetName parameter of the CreateDBInstance API action.
