Amazon Aurora MySQL-Compatible Edition

Performance Insights is supported for the following engine versions:

  • 3.0 and higher 3 versions (compatible with MySQL 8.0)

  • 2.04.2 and higher 2 versions (compatible with MySQL 5.7)

  • 1.17.3 and higher 1 versions (compatible with MySQL 5.6)

Performance Insights with parallel query enabled is supported for the following engine versions:

  • 2.09.0 and higher 2 versions (compatible with MySQL 5.7)

  • 1.23.0 and higher 1 versions (compatible with MySQL 5.6)

Performance Insights has the following engine class restrictions:

  • db.t2 – Not supported

  • db.t3 – Not supported

  • db.t4g – Supported only for 2.10.1 and higher 2 versions (compatible with MySQL 5.7) and all 3 versions (compatible with MySQL 8.0)

Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL-Compatible Edition

Performance Insights is supported for all engine versions.
