put-application-policy

Description

Puts the policy for the specified application.

  put-application-policy
--application-id <value>
[--statements <value>]
[--cli-input-json <value>]
[--generate-cli-skeleton <value>]

Options

--application-id (string) The id of the application to put policy for

--statements (list) Array of policy statements applied to the application.

Shorthand Syntax:

Actions=string,string,Principals=string,string,StatementId=string ...

JSON Syntax:

--cli-input-json (string) Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by --generate-cli-skeleton. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values.

--generate-cli-skeleton (string) Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value input, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for --cli-input-json. If provided with the value output, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command.

Output

Statements -> (list)

Array of policy statements applied to the application.

(structure)

Policy statement applied to the application.

Actions -> (list)

A list of supported actions:nn get-application n nn create-cloud-formation-change-set n nn list-application-versions n nn SearchApplications n nn Deploy (Note: This action enables all other actions above.)

(string)

Principals -> (list)

An AWS account ID, or * to make the application public.

(string)

StatementId -> (string)

A unique ID for the statement.
