Release: Elastic Beanstalk Amazon Linux 2023 platform updates on June 13, 2024

This release provides new versions for AWS Elastic Beanstalk platforms based on Amazon Linux 2023. The release includes security updates. It also includes AMI, Docker, ECS based Docker, Go, Corretto, .NET Core, PHP, and Python updates.

Applied all security updates published in the Amazon Linux Security Center on or before June 6, 2024 to all AL2023 platforms.

Component Update

AMI

Updated the base AMI to version 2023.4.20240611.

CloudWatch

Updated CloudWatch Agent to version 1.300041.0.

Additional changes

The release fixes a bug with enhanced health monitoring that prevents it from functioning properly when the local time of the environment instances is changed from UTC. Now enhanced health monitoring uses the local time instead of UTC.
