UpdateJob

Updates an existing job definition.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

JobName

Name of the job definition to update.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes

JobUpdate

Specifies the values with which to update the job definition.

Type: JobUpdate object

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

JobName

Returns the name of the updated job definition.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

The input provided was not valid.

HTTP Status Code: 400

The operation timed out.
