Use AWS CLI and AWS SDKs with AWS IoT FleetWise - AWS IoT FleetWise

AWS IoT FleetWise will no longer be open to new customers as of April 30, 2026. Existing AWS IoT FleetWise customers can continue using the service. The Guidance for Connected Mobility on AWS provides guidance on how to develop and deploy modular services for connected mobility solutions that can be used to achieve equivalent capabilities as AWS IoT FleetWise.

Use AWS CLI and AWS SDKs with AWS IoT FleetWise

This section provides information about making AWS IoT FleetWise API requests. For more information about AWS IoT FleetWise operations and data types, see the AWS IoT FleetWise API Reference.

To use AWS IoT FleetWise with a variety of programming languages, use the AWS SDKs, which contain the following automatic functionality:

  • Cryptographically signing your service requests

  • Retrying requests

  • Handling error responses

For command line access, use AWS IoT FleetWise with the AWS CLI. You can control AWS IoT FleetWise, and your other services, from the command line, and automate them through scripts.
