AuthorizeVpcEndpointAccess - Amazon OpenSearch Service


Provides access to an Amazon OpenSearch Service domain through the use of an interface VPC endpoint.

Request Syntax

POST /2021-01-01/opensearch/domain/DomainName/authorizeVpcEndpointAccess HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "Account": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.


The name of the OpenSearch Service domain to provide access to.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 3. Maximum length of 28.

Pattern: [a-z][a-z0-9\-]+

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.


The AWS account ID to grant access to.

Type: String

Pattern: ^[0-9]+$

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.
