Synopsis

Calls the Amazon Redshift DescribeClusterSnapshots API operation.

Syntax

Get-RSClusterSnapshot
-ClusterIdentifier <String>
-SnapshotIdentifier <String>
-SnapshotType <String>
-EndTime <DateTime>
-OwnerAccount <String>
-StartTime <DateTime>
-TagKey <String[]>
-TagValue <String[]>
-Marker <String>
-MaxRecord <Int32>

Description

Returns one or more snapshot objects, which contain metadata about your cluster snapshots. By default, this operation returns information about all snapshots of all clusters that are owned by you AWS customer account. No information is returned for snapshots owned by inactive AWS customer accounts. If you specify both tag keys and tag values in the same request, Amazon Redshift returns all snapshots that match any combination of the specified keys and values. For example, if you have owner and environment for tag keys, and admin and test for tag values, all snapshots that have any combination of those values are returned. Only snapshots that you own are returned in the response; shared snapshots are not returned with the tag key and tag value request parameters. If both tag keys and values are omitted from the request, snapshots are returned regardless of whether they have tag keys or values associated with them.

This operation automatically pages all available results to the pipeline - parameters related to iteration are only needed if you want to manually control the paginated output.

Note: For scripts written against earlier versions of this module this cmdlet can also be invoked with the alias, Get-RSClusterSnapshots.

Parameters

-ClusterIdentifier <String>
The identifier of the cluster for which information about snapshots is requested.
Required?False
Position?1
Accept pipeline input?True (ByValue, ByPropertyName)
-EndTime <DateTime>
A time value that requests only snapshots created at or before the specified time. The time value is specified in ISO 8601 format. For more information about ISO 8601, go to the ISO8601 Wikipedia page.Example: 2012-07-16T18:00:00Z
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False
-Marker <String>
An optional parameter that specifies the starting point to return a set of response records. When the results of a DescribeClusterSnapshots request exceed the value specified in MaxRecords, AWS returns a value in the Marker field of the response. You can retrieve the next set of response records by providing the returned marker value in the Marker parameter and retrying the request.
Note: This parameter is only used if you are manually controlling output pagination of the service API call.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False
-MaxRecord <Int32>
The maximum number of response records to return in each call. If the number of remaining response records exceeds the specified MaxRecords value, a value is returned in a marker field of the response. You can retrieve the next set of records by retrying the command with the returned marker value. Default: 100Constraints: minimum 20, maximum 100.
Note: This parameter is only used if you are manually controlling output pagination of the service API call.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False
-OwnerAccount <String>
The AWS customer account used to create or copy the snapshot. Use this field to filter the results to snapshots owned by a particular account. To describe snapshots you own, either specify your AWS customer account, or do not specify the parameter.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False
-SnapshotIdentifier <String>
The snapshot identifier of the snapshot about which to return information.
Required?False
Position?2
Accept pipeline input?True (ByPropertyName)
-SnapshotType <String>
The type of snapshots for which you are requesting information. By default, snapshots of all types are returned.Valid Values: automated | manual
Required?False
Position?3
Accept pipeline input?False
-StartTime <DateTime>
A value that requests only snapshots created at or after the specified time. The time value is specified in ISO 8601 format. For more information about ISO 8601, go to the ISO8601 Wikipedia page.Example: 2012-07-16T18:00:00Z
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False
-TagKey <String[]>
A tag key or keys for which you want to return all matching cluster snapshots that are associated with the specified key or keys. For example, suppose that you have snapshots that are tagged with keys called owner and environment. If you specify both of these tag keys in the request, Amazon Redshift returns a response with the snapshots that have either or both of these tag keys associated with them.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False
-TagValue <String[]>
A tag value or values for which you want to return all matching cluster snapshots that are associated with the specified tag value or values. For example, suppose that you have snapshots that are tagged with values called admin and test. If you specify both of these tag values in the request, Amazon Redshift returns a response with the snapshots that have either or both of these tag values associated with them.
Required?False
Position?Named
Accept pipeline input?False

Common Credential and Region Parameters

-AccessKey <String>
The AWS access key for the user account. This can be a temporary access key if the corresponding session token is supplied to the -SessionToken parameter.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-Credential <AWSCredentials>
An AWSCredentials object instance containing access and secret key information, and optionally a token for session-based credentials.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-ProfileLocation <String>

Used to specify the name and location of the ini-format credential file (shared with the AWS CLI and other AWS SDKs)

If this optional parameter is omitted this cmdlet will search the encrypted credential file used by the AWS SDK for .NET and AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio first. If the profile is not found then the cmdlet will search in the ini-format credential file at the default location: (user's home directory)\.aws\credentials. Note that the encrypted credential file is not supported on all platforms. It will be skipped when searching for profiles on Windows Nano Server, Mac, and Linux platforms.

If this parameter is specified then this cmdlet will only search the ini-format credential file at the location given.

As the current folder can vary in a shell or during script execution it is advised that you use specify a fully qualified path instead of a relative path.

Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-ProfileName <String>
The user-defined name of an AWS credentials or SAML-based role profile containing credential information. The profile is expected to be found in the secure credential file shared with the AWS SDK for .NET and AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio. You can also specify the name of a profile stored in the .ini-format credential file used with the AWS CLI and other AWS SDKs.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-NetworkCredential <PSCredential>
Used with SAML-based authentication when ProfileName references a SAML role profile. Contains the network credentials to be supplied during authentication with the configured identity provider's endpoint. This parameter is not required if the user's default network identity can or should be used during authentication.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-SecretKey <String>
The AWS secret key for the user account. This can be a temporary secret key if the corresponding session token is supplied to the -SessionToken parameter.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-SessionToken <String>
The session token if the access and secret keys are temporary session-based credentials.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-Region <String>
The system name of the AWS region in which the operation should be invoked. For example, us-east-1, eu-west-1 etc.
Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False
-EndpointUrl <String>

The endpoint to make the call against.

Note: This parameter is primarily for internal AWS use and is not required/should not be specified for normal usage. The cmdlets normally determine which endpoint to call based on the region specified to the -Region parameter or set as default in the shell (via Set-DefaultAWSRegion). Only specify this parameter if you must direct the call to a specific custom endpoint.

Required? False
Position? Named
Accept pipeline input? False

Inputs
