Synopsis

Calls the AWS Security Hub InviteMembers API operation.

Description

We recommend using Organizations instead of Security Hub CSPM invitations to manage your member accounts. For information, see Managing Security Hub CSPM administrator and member accounts with Organizations in the Security Hub CSPM User Guide. Invites other Amazon Web Services accounts to become member accounts for the Security Hub CSPM administrator account that the invitation is sent from. This operation is only used to invite accounts that don't belong to an Amazon Web Services organization. Organization accounts don't receive invitations. Before you can use this action to invite a member, you must first use the CreateMembers action to create the member account in Security Hub CSPM. When the account owner enables Security Hub CSPM and accepts the invitation to become a member account, the administrator account can view the findings generated in the member account.

Parameters

-AccountId <String[]>
The list of account IDs of the Amazon Web Services accounts to invite to Security Hub CSPM as members. Starting with version 4 of the SDK this property will default to null. If no data for this property is returned from the service the property will also be null. This was changed to improve performance and allow the SDK and caller to distinguish between a property not set or a property being empty to clear out a value. To retain the previous SDK behavior set the AWSConfigs.InitializeCollections static property to true.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'UnprocessedAccounts'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.SecurityHub.Model.InviteMembersResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.SecurityHub.Model.InviteMembersResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

This cmdlet returns a collection of Amazon.SecurityHub.Model.Result objects. The service call response (type Amazon.SecurityHub.Model.InviteMembersResponse) can be returned by specifying '-Select *'.
