Synopsis

Calls the Amazon QuickSight UpdatePublicSharingSettings API operation.

Description

Use the UpdatePublicSharingSettings operation to turn on or turn off the public sharing settings of an Amazon QuickSight dashboard. To use this operation, turn on session capacity pricing for your Amazon QuickSight account. Before you can turn on public sharing on your account, make sure to give public sharing permissions to an administrative user in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) console. -PassThru <SwitchParameter>
Changes the cmdlet behavior to return the value passed to the AwsAccountId parameter. The -PassThru parameter is deprecated, use -Select '^AwsAccountId' instead. This parameter will be removed in a future version.

A Boolean value that indicates whether public sharing is turned on for an Amazon QuickSight account.

-Select <String>
Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is '*'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.QuickSight.Model.UpdatePublicSharingSettingsResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.QuickSight.Model.UpdatePublicSharingSettingsResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.
