Synopsis

Calls the Amazon EC2 Container Service UpdateClusterSettings API operation.

Description

Modifies the settings to use for a cluster.

-Select <String>
Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'Cluster'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.ECS.Model.UpdateClusterSettingsResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.ECS.Model.UpdateClusterSettingsResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

-Setting <ClusterSetting[]>
The setting to use by default for a cluster. This parameter is used to turn on CloudWatch Container Insights for a cluster. If this value is specified, it overrides the containerInsights value set with PutAccountSetting or PutAccountSettingDefault.Currently, if you delete an existing cluster that does not have Container Insights turned on, and then create a new cluster with the same name with Container Insights tuned on, Container Insights will not actually be turned on. If you want to preserve the same name for your existing cluster and turn on Container Insights, you must wait 7 days before you can re-create it. Starting with version 4 of the SDK this property will default to null. If no data for this property is returned from the service the property will also be null. This was changed to improve performance and allow the SDK and caller to distinguish between a property not set or a property being empty to clear out a value. To retain the previous SDK behavior set the AWSConfigs.InitializeCollections static property to true.

Used to specify the name and location of the ini-format credential file (shared with the AWS CLI and other AWS SDKs)If this optional parameter is omitted this cmdlet will search the encrypted credential file used by the AWS SDK for .NET and AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio first. If the profile is not found then the cmdlet will search in the ini-format credential file at the default location: (user's home directory)\.aws\credentials.If this parameter is specified then this cmdlet will only search the ini-format credential file at the location given.As the current folder can vary in a shell or during script execution it is advised that you use specify a fully qualified path instead of a relative path.

This cmdlet returns an Amazon.ECS.Model.Cluster object. The service call response (type Amazon.ECS.Model.UpdateClusterSettingsResponse) can be returned by specifying '-Select *'.
