In the financial services industry, as organizations speed up their migrations to the cloud and transform their businesses, they frequently have to navigate the complexity of adopting multicloud operations. A multicloud environment can emerge from various needs, such as immediate data access requirements, regulatory concerns, or seeking differentiated capabilities from newly acquired companies that use different clouds. This paper discusses how financial institutions (FIs) can build a successful multicloud strategy in light of these challenges, and how AWS Cloud services can simplify the management and governance of diverse IT landscapes. Through AWS, FIs can more easily oversee their operations, make sure that their applications run smoothly, and analyze data across multiple platforms. They can balance innovation with operational efficiency to deliver better customer experiences, reduce costs, and innovate faster.
This paper extends the discussion in Proven practices for developing a multicloud strategy with guidance that is specific to the financial services industry. We recommend that you read that guide before reading this paper.
