Creates an empty receipt rule set.

For information about setting up receipt rule sets, see the Amazon SES Developer Guide.

You can execute this operation no more than once per second.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateReceiptRuleSet and EndCreateReceiptRuleSet.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.SimpleEmail.Model.CreateReceiptRuleSetRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateReceiptRuleSet service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateReceiptRuleSet service method, as returned by SimpleEmailService.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AlreadyExistsException Indicates that a resource could not be created because of a naming conflict.
LimitExceededException Indicates that a resource could not be created because of service limits. For a list of Amazon SES limits, see the Amazon SES Developer Guide.
