Synopsis

Calls the AWS Systems Manager GetDocument API operation.

Description

Gets the contents of the specified Amazon Web Services Systems Manager document (SSM document).

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is '*'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.SimpleSystemsManagement.Model.GetDocumentResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.SimpleSystemsManagement.Model.GetDocumentResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

An optional field specifying the version of the artifact associated with the document. For example, 12.6. This value is unique across all versions of a document and can't be changed.

Only specify this parameter if you must direct the call to a specific custom endpoint.
