AWS Regions, endpoints, and quotas for S3 Vectors
Note
Amazon S3 Vectors is in preview release for Amazon Simple Storage Service and is subject to change.
The following sections include the supported AWS Regions and service quotas for Amazon S3 Vectors.
S3 Vectors AWS Regions and endpoints
Amazon S3 Vectors is currently available in the following AWS Regions. To connect programmatically to an AWS service, you use an endpoint. For more information about AWS service endpoints, see AWS service endpoints in the AWS General Reference. For more Amazon S3 endpoint information, see Amazon S3 endpoints and quotas in the AWS General Reference.
S3 Vectors endpoints are dual-stack endpoints that support requests over IPv6 and IPv4.
Gateway VPC endpoints and AWS PrivateLink aren't supported.

S3 Vectors service quotas
Quotas, also referred to as limits, are the maximum number of service resources or operations for your AWS account. The limits are the service quotas for S3 Vectors resources.
For detailed limits that apply to S3 Vectors, see Limitations and restrictions.
Unless otherwise noted, each quota is per AWS Region. You can request increases for some quotas, and other quotas can't be increased. For more information about requesting a quota increase, see Requesting a quota increase in the Service Quotas User Guide. For more Amazon S3 quota information, see Amazon S3 endpoints and quotas in the AWS General Reference.
