RegisterApplicationRevision

Registers with AWS CodeDeploy a revision for the specified application.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

applicationName

The name of an AWS CodeDeploy application associated with the user or AWS account.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.

Required: Yes

description

A comment about the revision.

Type: String

Required: No

revision

Information about the application revision to register, including type and location.

Type: RevisionLocation object

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

ApplicationDoesNotExistException

The application does not exist with the user or AWS account.

ApplicationNameRequiredException

The minimum number of required application names was not specified.

DescriptionTooLongException

The description is too long.

InvalidApplicationNameException

The application name was specified in an invalid format.

HTTP Status Code: 400

InvalidRevisionException

The revision was specified in an invalid format.

HTTP Status Code: 400

RevisionRequiredException

The revision ID was not specified.

HTTP Status Code: 400
