wait

Description

Wait until a particular condition is satisfied. Each subcommand polls an API until the listed requirement is met.

Unless otherwise stated, all examples have unix-like quotation rules. These examples will need to be adapted to your terminal's quoting rules. See Using quotation marks with strings in the AWS CLI User Guide .

To wait for an annotation store to be ready

The following wait example waits for an annotation store's status to be ACTIVE.

aws omics wait annotation-store-created \
    --name my_ann_store
