The cost bases for each Amazon GameLift Servers service are as follows:
Amazon GameLift Servers managed hosting – You pay based on (1) hourly instance usage for hosting game sessions, and (2) data transfer for traffic between game clients and hosted game servers. Instance usage costs vary based on AWS Region, instance type/size, operating system, and whether it is a Spot or On-Demand instance.
Amazon GameLift Servers FlexMatch standalone – You pay based on (1) the number of player requests for matchmaking you make, and (2) the processing time required to evaluate match requests and propose matches.
Amazon GameLift Servers Anywhere hosting – You pay based on (1) the number of game sessions that Amazon GameLift Servers places on Anywhere computes, and (2) the number of server process connection minutes.
Amazon GameLift Servers FleetIQ – You pay a charge for each EC2 instance in a game server group. The charge is derived from the hourly instance price and is in addition to the EC2 usage cost. Instance usage costs vary based on AWS Region, instance type/size, operating system, and whether it is a Spot or On-Demand instance.
