About The Service¶
Systems Manager Incident Manager is an incident management console designed to help users mitigate and recover from incidents affecting their Amazon Web Services-hosted applications. An incident is any unplanned interruption or reduction in quality of services.
Incident Manager increases incident resolution by notifying responders of impact, highlighting relevant troubleshooting data, and providing collaboration tools to get services back up and running. To achieve the primary goal of reducing the time-to-resolution of critical incidents, Incident Manager automates response plans and enables responder team escalation.
Using the SDK¶
In your code, create a client using the SDK module for AWS Systems Manager Incident Manager Contacts, which is created with
factory method /AWS1/CL_SMC_FACTORY
=>create()
.
In this example we will assume you have configured
an SDK profile in transaction /AWS1/IMG
called ZFINANCE
.
DATA(go_session) = /aws1/cl_rt_session_aws=>create( 'ZFINANCE' ).
DATA(go_smc) = /aws1/cl_smc_factory=>create( go_session ).
Your variable go_smc
is an instance of /AWS1/IF_SMC
,
and all of the operations
in the AWS Systems Manager Incident Manager Contacts service are accessed by calling methods in /AWS1/IF_SMC
.
