For your next step in creating a MediaLive channel, we recommend that you read the chapter about the channel schedule. It is likely that there are features of the schedule that you want to use. For more information, see Creating an AWS Elemental MediaLive schedule.
For example, if you have attached more than one input to the channel, you must implement input switching in order to move from one input to another. Input switching uses schedule actions. See Setting up for input switching.
After you have set up the schedule, you can start the channel.
